Saturday and Monday nights are open
evenings where you can explore Orlando on your own or you can
join us for a group event.
Michael Shoemaker, 2009 President, Utah Society of CPM, has graciously
offered to coordinate a group event on Saturday
night (Makihiki Luau) and Monday
night (Pirates Dinner Adventure). Cassandra Lamey has
volunteered to coordinate an outing to Howl at the Moon on Saturday night. Information about
all events and more are below. You will need to purchase all tickets on your
own. If you will be attending either dinner event,
please contact Michael by September 15th, 4 p.m. (Mountain Standard
Time) so that we can get reserved seating. You can call
Michael at (801) 538-7746 or email him at
mtshoemaker@utah.gov.
If you plan to go with the group to Howl at the
Moon, contact Cassandra at
Cassandra.Lamey@dot.state.fl.us
In
addition, below there are several other activities and offers that have

Pirate's Dinner Adventure
This was rated the
Best Dinner Show/Theater by Florida Monthly Magazine in 2008. At this
show, you will be transported back to 18th Century Spanish Main. The set
includes a 46 foot Spanish galleon anchored in a 300,000 gallon indoor
lagoon. The show is action packed with a dozen actors, singers and stunt
performers. Come hungry because there is a pre-show appetizer buffet and
during the show there is the Port of Call Feast. If you do not speak
"Pirate", we will have a translator on hand to work you through every "Arg,
Matey and Bloke".
When
and Where to Meet:
We will meet in the lobby of the Rosen Centre Hotel at 5:15 p.m. The
dinner theater opens at 6 p.m.,
pre-show starts at 6:30 p.m.
and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
and lasts until 9 p.m.
There is a post show party until 9:30 p.m. for those that are
interested. The reason for leaving early is to get there is that lines
can tend to be long to get in and the I-Ride Trolley leaves only once
every 15 minutes.
How to Get There:
I-Ride Trolley or
Michael Shoemaker will be
the point of contact to set up car pooling of those that have cars
available for those that do not.
Special pricing just for our group:
$45.00 (includes tax).

Michael Shoemaker will be the point of contact to set up car pooling
of those that have cars available for those that do not.
Tickets: Use the
link below ... and Michael has a tip for you:
"I found a pleasant surprise. I purchased an after 12
p.m. convention ticket for $54.95. However, when I printed off the
ticket it says on it if I present my e-ticket to the Upgrade Window
before I leave Sea World on the 19th, then they will give me a second
visit free ticket that can be used during regular scheduled hours for up
to 7 consecutive days from my first visit. From my understanding, I paid
$54.95 for half a day and can bounce back for a full day without having
to pay more. Nice!"
